Counter-Strike rules

Competition format

  • Counter-Strike version 1.6
  • 5 people teams. 5 vs 5
  • There can be more than 5 people per team, the rest will be substitutes.
  • It is not allowed to make substitutions during a round, except:
    • There is a hardware problem or other major problem. In that case the match will be paused and an Admin asked what to do.
  • If a team protests without a reason, or present false proof or accusation it will be disqualified from competition.

Competition rules

  • Rounds: a total of 24 rounds will be played, 12 as T and 12 as CT.
  • Round time: 3 minutes
  • A coin toss will decide who starts as CT and who as T at the start. The winner will choose team.
  • If there is an agreement between both teams, the team selection will be done with a knife-only round.
  • Victory: first team to win 13 rounds.
  • Draw: if there is a tie, 6 more rounds will be played (3 as T and 3 as CT)
    • If there is a draw again, 6 more rounds will be played with the same conditions.
  • Maps: De_Aztec, De_Cbble, De_Dust2, De_Inferno, De_Nuke, De_Train
  • Only team captains can send public messages (say) during the match. All other players must use say_team.
  • If there is a disconnection during a match:
    • If the server goes down (all players disconnect):
      • Before 3rd round starts: match is restarted.
      • After 3rd round starts: the result until that moment, not counting playing round's result is recorded. Match continues with 800$.
    • If one player disconnects fortuitously, affected team's captain will be able to pause the match when the round finishes. Round will be counted as valid.
    • If two players of a team disconnect fortuitously, affected team's captain will be able to pause the match when the round finishes. Round will NOT be counted as valid.
    • If the disconnection is not fortuitous, adversary will be the victor because of forfeit.
  • All players must save the match demo.
    • Those demos can be asked by admins and adversary teams's captain.
  • Default skins will be used.
  • "Boosting" is allowed (jumping on playermates, up to 2 players).
  • It is allowed to throw grenades over structures.
  • "sky box" bug in de_nuke is not allowed.
  • Use of Flash bang bug will result in at least a warning or otherwise the lose of the match (de_cbble, de_dust2, de_aztec)
  • Use of any other bug or application will result in at least a warning or lose of the match, decided by organizers.
  • Protests:
    • Only allowed when the match has finished.
    • Only team's captain can talk to admins or organizators.

Penalties

  • Use of non-default skins or textures
  • Cheats
  • Map bugs (ex: map swimming, auto aim, etc.)
  • Scripts (ex: silentrun, attack+use, centerview script, norecoil script, etc.)
  • An admin can ask for and check player's configurations. If someone denies this checking he will loose the match.
  • If there is any doubt, protest, ... demos will be asked to players. If they don't give them they can be disqualified.
  • Two warnings will disqualify a team.
