General rules
- Only one work is allowed for each category and person, except for demos and 64kb
and 4kb intros.
- Productions presented previously elsewhere (in a party, over internet, ...) won't
be acepted.
- The production's author must be physically in the party.
If it is a teamwork, at least one of the team members
must attend the Euskal, to give the production to the organizers and take the prize
in case the production wins the compo.
- The productions must be presented before the deadline.
No production will be accepted after the deadline.
Those deadlines will be announced repeatedly.
- Demos and intros can be tested in the compo machine
to verify that they run correctly. The test will be done
by order and as possible.
- Be aware that there could be incompatibilities between
some video modes and the video projector, this risk
exists and it cannot be forseen.
- Before each PC Demo, the computer will be reset to avoid
incompabilities with the former demo.
- All demos and intros must be able to abort pressing the ESC key. Productions that
don't fulfil this rule will be disqualified.
- The organization keeps its right to
disqualify any production with contents that are racist,
of bad taste or any other theme that could hurt public
sensibility.
- During the showing of every compo entry at the Party, including
Demos, graphics and music, it won't be allowed to
play any type of sound or make any noise that could annoy to the audience.
In case somebody doesn't repeatedly follow this rule, the Organization
reserves the right to force the autor of the noise
to stop it or even to throw him out of the Party.
- We'll have a dedicated server for production delivery.
The productions can also be delivered in disks and also in CD-ROMs, but not
in any other format. Productions delivered in ZIP,
JAZZ, Magneto-optics, VHS or hard disk will NOT be accepted.
- The sound table will be untouchable to anybody not belonging
to the organization. The table will be adjusted the same way for everybody at the music compos,
and also in demos, intros, etc.
- No machine will be accepted to show any work (including
Demos, Intros, etc.) except those setup by the Organization.
All productions must run in one of the organization's
machines in order to get accepted in one of the compos.
- Anybody can present productions out of competition, because it doesn't fulfill
some rules or just because its author prefers it. Productions presented out of competition
will be shown and distributed in the same way as any other production presented to
a competition.
- All productions, without exception, will be spreaded after
the prize ceremony, even if they are not final versions,
and without requiring authors' permision.
