IntroductionAs the world of modding grows and evolves, so does the area Euskal Encounter devotes to it. In the present edition there will be a bigger number of activities, competitions as well as the so long expected Modding workshop. As you can say for the very name modding means modification, change, personalization, difference. Therefore, it consists of modifying computers, their components, peripheral equipment and even the furniture they are supported by. In a world where uniformity is rule, where machines are grey clones if anything, modders put forward a touch of colour, by painting by performing unbelievable boxes with any materials, in a word, seeking distinction, specialness. Even in the technical area, when everything is standard, they revolution rules, taking every capacity out of machines, pushing them beyond the limits manufacturers thought of. Modding is as you can see a growing movement, innovating, creative; and thus it will havea place in Euskal Encounter14.
