This year we will use a publicly elected expert jury. Jury election procedureThe election will be held within the reservation system. Any party attender that has checked "scene" interest area will be able to vote for juries. Jury candidates will be those attenders that have checked "scene" interest and have checked the candidate category of the competition. (for example, for Chiptune, category is music). Entry evaluationJuries will work in the following way: In the beginning of the party, all juries will met for a presentation of the evaluation system, and to clarify any questions about it. After watching the prods in the big screens, juries will be able to download the prods, so that they can evaluate them quiet and carefully. They will be able to speak with authors, to ask questions, etc. Juries will met in the jury room after all competitions of a category are over. The jury meetings will serve for further production discussion; it will be possible to watch/listen to prods again. Juries will be able to disqualify a production, if more members of the jury agree with the disqualification that those who don't agree. The organization will be able to disqualify productions as well. Each judge will order the compo entries from the best to the worst, and entries will receive points depending on their place in each judge's order: 25 for 1st place, 20 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 for 10th place. If someone is in the judge of a compo in which he/she participated, he/she won't order his/her production; instead, he would mark the entry as done by him, and the mean value of points given by the other judges will be taken as his/her points. Only the 10 best productions must be ordered by each judge. Judges will receive a form in which they will be able to take notes. They must enter their veredict using party's extranet system. |
