2007 activities
Fast modding competition
This is a huge comunity, so why
not take part in a competition where we can meet each other and work alongside?
The plan:
- Inscription starts right now. Send an e-mail to eneko@euskal.org
to contact me.
- Inscriptions will be admitted up to 5 teams (maximun number per team 10
people)
- The party opening day 5 computer boxes will be delivered, all the same,
as the basis for your mod.
- Mods will be carried out in the Hardware area, where tools, electric power
and work tables will be available.
- The deadline is at 12.00 am on the last day of the party. Sharp!
The rules:
- Only the first 5 inscriptions will be admitted. If any of them didn’t
attend the following one would be appointed.
- Participants will be allowed to use any method to perform the mod, as
long as the box doesn’t leave the party premises.
- When boxes are delivered the teams will have to show the components they
will use so that everyone starts up from the very beginning
The jury will take the following
into account:
- 1 point: Change level. How much has the box changed from its origins?
- 1 point: Finishing. Is the mod finished or are there things still to
be done? Are components tidied?
- 1 point: Function. Is there a pc inside? What does it do? Is it overclocked?
Is there a good air flow?
- 1 point: Appearance. Is the mod beatiful and attractive?
- 1 point: Presentation. Has the team provided the jury with a proper explanation
of their mod?
- 1 point: Integration. If there are peripherics, do they match the mod?
Does the deskmod fit the mod theme?
- 4 points: The joker. Each team can use these points to strengthen the
aspects they consider best in their own mod, by multiplying the vote value
for the points scored in each section (if a team uses these 4 points for
Appearance and they get 0.8 for it their final score will be 3.2)

First prize: Dremel Stylus
Second prize: A 175 pieces accesory set
Third prize: A 100 pieces accesory set
